EFFICIENCY

Efficiency
values of motors remain unchanged from 100% to 60% of rated output
utilisation.
NOISE LEVEL :
Motors
are designed for low noise levels in accordance with IS : 12055.
COOLING AND VENTILATION :
Type
of cooling is IC 0141 as per IS : 6362. All motors have an external,
bi-directional centrifugal fan.

PAINT
:
Standard
paint (RAL 7030) is provided and is suitable for tropical
conditions. However special paint is available on request.
CONSTRUCTION
:
Standard
motors with single shaft extension are horizontal foot mounted (IMB3 as
per IS : 2253 and IEC 34, Part 7). Frame sizes 160M-315L (except 2 pole
motors of frame size 315) in IMB3 construction, can be mounted in IMB6,
IMB7, IMB8, IMV5 and IMV6 construction. Other types of construction as
shown below, available on request.

installation of foot mounting motors on a wall, a support should be
provided for the mounting feet.

Two pole motors for 60Hz cannot be supplied from frame size 315L
upwards

The motors are delivered ex-works with two eyebolts corresponding
to the type of construction ‘IMB5’whereby one of them can be changed
for achieving the type of construction ‘IMV1’. It should be observedthat the through hole of the eyebolt is fitted at right angles to the
direction of force.
