WINDING CONNECTIONS :
Motors upto and including 90 frame and 6 and 8 pole motors in 100 Frame shall be star connected. Motors from frame 112 and above and 2 & 4 Pole motors in 100 frame shall be delta connected.
METHODS OF STARTING :
Cage Motors upto frame size 100 are designed for DOL (Direct On Line) starting and those with frame size 112 and above are designed for STAR - DELTA starting.
All motors shall be bi-directional.

ENVIRONMENTAL LIMITATIONS

Motor Suitable to operate under Normal Operating Conditions. :

• Ambient temperature of between - 16⁰ C and + 50⁰ C inclusive.

• Altitude of under 1000 meters.

• Atmospheric pressure 1050 m bar.

• Drain Holes & drip cover.
  
  Drain holes : 
  Holes are provided at the lowest points of the machine enclosure to drain off any moisture that may have accumulated inside. After draining the plugs must be refitted in order to maintain IP55 protection.
  Drip Covers :
  For machines operating vertically outdoors, with the drive shaft downwards, canopies are used. This is an option and should be mentioned on the order if required.
